MIDI Noodle · Wizards
Ask about music. Not MIDI.
Each common job is a wizard: a few questions about your devices, a preview of what it will build, then ordinary routes on the canvas you can tweak like any others.
Questions you can answer
Wizards ask "Which device leads the tempo?" or "Which devices should follow it?", not about message types and channel numbers. You pick from the gear that's actually plugged in.
Open Connect… and pick from Get started, Play, Tempo, Apps & network and Troubleshoot, or search: "clock", "split" and "logic" all find the right one.
See it before it's built
The last step lists everything the wizard will do: the routes it adds, the clock it sets, a scene it creates, and anything it noticed along the way, like a synth that would get clock twice.
Create applies it all as one undo step.
Then it's just routes
Nothing a wizard builds is hidden. It's the same cards and cables you'd draw by hand, so you can change a channel, add an effect or delete a route afterwards.
The wizards
Fifteen wizards cover the jobs most hardware setups need.
Get started
Describe my setup, Add a device on a DIN port, Daisy chain over DIN.
Play
Play a device from another, Split the keyboard, Layer, One controller, many synths.
Tempo
Sync tempo, Sync with a DAW, Sequencer drives the rack.
Apps & network
Share with an app or DAW, Connect two Macs, Play over the network.
Troubleshoot
Test a connection, Fix stuck notes / runaway clock.
