MIDI Noodle · Looper
Play it once. Hear it loop.
Put a Looper on any cable. It records the notes that pass through for a set number of bars, then plays them back in time with the rest of the patch.
Takes that land on the bar
Press record on the card. The take starts on the next bar, or on the first note you play, and lasts exactly 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars. Then it loops, locked to the transport's bars, so it never drifts against the drums.
Overdub or start over
Choose what happens while you record a new take: the loop keeps playing, goes quiet so you can hear yourself, or stays on and the new notes are added to it, as an overdub.
Keep playing
The loop plays on while the new take replaces it.
Mute loop
Silence while you record, then the new take plays.
Overdub
Layer a second part on top of the first.
Saved with the project
The take lives in the patch, so it's there next time you open it.
Tighten it up on playback
Quantize snaps note starts to 1/8, 1/16 or 1/32 as the loop plays. The take keeps what you played, so you can switch it off again and hear the original feel.
